Tosun Tulay is interested with the dream of artificial rock systems since 1994 in her designs. Since then, to the present day are manufacturing of concrete artificial rocks a part of her reference works. She discovered with this method that some problems have to be solved. Concrete artificial rock systems, in the conditions where created the tissues in their place by human in our country, do not have very realistic results. Only the outer part of iron that used in the construction remains in concrete; in the inner part, the iron construction cannot meet the concrete, remains hanging in the open. As a result of contact with air and water, which corrodes iron construction as soon as possible; loses transport strength and collapses breakage occurs. A another problem is isolation; to made heat and water insulation over the artificial concrete rocks, can be solved the problem temporarily.
Because only the material which is brushed at textured surface can be broken, over time due to external factors (water, rain), insulating loses its effect. A serious maintanance need occurs at this issue. Another problem is, during the manufacturing of artificial rocks in its place, it requires construction area because of usage sand-iron-cement and water, even If it is a completed project area, it makes the area turn into construction area.
Another observation of Tülay Tosun is, to need a lot of labor for making this work. Due to weather conditions, operating times are interrupted from time to time because it is made in its place. As well as all of them, result of product pressure load is 100kg per m2. This situation causes easy dents because of the construction weakening and at the same time, it makes the construction cost increase.In the light of all of these observations, Tülay Tosun has continued her researches and developments with her team at her own workshop nearly 10 year-period. During this period she has found today's GFRP Artificial Rock Systems by making various experiments.She has applied for patent for her invention and received the patent of this system. And that is the story of our Artificial Rock product.In spite of all this, If necessary ,design of Artificial rock manufacturing in its place is continued to application as realistic at texture, design and technically with enjoyable and successful designs.
